Out of Many, One People

Jamaica: Cultural Powerhouse, Caribbean Business Hub

Jamaica is the largest island in the Anglophone Caribbean, with 2.8 million people and an economy built on services, tourism, manufacturing, and agriculture. Known worldwide for reggae, the speed of Usain Bolt, and Blue Mountain coffee, Jamaica is also an important financial and business centre in the Caribbean, with Kingston as its dynamic capital.

Jamaica's tax system is administered by the TAJ (Tax Administration Jamaica), with a 15% GCT (General Consumption Tax) and a unique payroll structure combining four mandatory contributions: NIS (National Insurance), NHT (National Housing Trust), HEART Trust (technical training), and PAYE (income tax).

cifraHQ, made in Panama -- Jamaica's Caribbean partner -- delivers full TAJ compliance, all Jamaican payroll contributions, and the IFRS standards adopted across the island.
